Security expert, Zagazola Makama, made this disclosure in a post on X. Zagazola stated that the operation followed intelligence obtained from a suspected logistics courier and armourer arrested earlier by troops. He said that intelligence-led follow-up operation was conducted on July 3 by troops of the 34 Artillery Brigade, who advanced through difficult terrain to a suspected criminal hideout in Obiakpu Community, Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State. 42 Ondo Alade-Idanre Jul 03, 2026 The Ondo State Police Command said it had arrested four persons in connection with an armed robbery incident in Alade-Idanre community, Idanre Local Government Area of the state. 45 Kebbi Birnin Kebbi Jul 03, 2026 Kebbi State Hisbah Agency has arrested three underage Quranic school pupils, popularly known as Almajirai, for allegedly being in possession of hard drugs. The development was disclosed by the agencys Director of Daawa and Public Awareness, Malam Sirajo Usman Kamba, while speaking with journalists in Birnin Kebbi.NKamba said preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects, aged between 10 and 13 years, are from Niger State and Maiyama Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
